Bart and Lisa make breakfast for Marge’s birthday and take her breakfast in bed.  Homer wakes up and thinks it is his birthday, but then gets caught not knowing it is Marge’s birthday, so he “takes a stroll” to go get her birthday present.

Marge and the family (including Patty and Selma) go to The Singing Sirloin for her 34th birthday dinner.  Bart gets Marge some French perfume (by the jug) and, Lisa makes her a very intricate macaroni card while Homer gets her a bowling ball, even though she has never bowled, with his name inscribed on it.

Marge goes to the bowling alley out of spite to Homer for buying her a gift that was totally 100% meant for him.  She goes to ask the bowling alley employee where she can go to “throw this thing” and he points to a lane, but stops her first to give her a lane and shoes.  When he asks Marge her shoe size, she gets offended, but then realizes he’s just doing his job - 13AA.  The employee does not carry her size, so instead he gives her a size 9 and a size 15 to compromise (although a 9 for one foot and a 15 for the other, obviously won’t work).  Marge takes the shoes and heads over to her lane.

She tosses the ball and it barely stays in her lane, knocking down one pin.  She watches the guy to her right who gets strike after strike after strike.  He comes over to Marge and starts to seduce her, convincing her to let him teach her to bowl.  He calls her Homer because of the encryption on the ball, but she corrects him saying that is her balls name (not mentioning she has a husband).

While she was gone, Homer watched the kids and followed Marge’s easy to-do list including cleaning up after the pizza (throwing the box in the garbage) and putting Maggie to bed.

Marge decides to go bowling again the next night with her new friend (and sexy almost lover) Jacque.  He bought her a wrist support with her name on it and she falls in love with the way he treats her, much different than Homer – Jacque actually pays attention.   As Jacque drops Marge off at her house, he asks to see her tomorrow.

Marge- “What’s brunch?”

Jacque – “You’d love it.  Its not quite breakfast and its not quite lunch, but it comes with a slice of cantaloupe at the end.  You don’t get as much as breakfast, but you get a good meal.”

Marge over compensates for the kids, giving them a ton of extra goodies on their way out the door.  Marge meets Jacque for lunch and guess who happens to be there to see her eating with another man, none other than gossipy, reverend’s wife – Mrs. Lovejoy.  Marge agrees to meet Jacque again Thursday night, this time at his apartment.

Homer starts to miss Marge, since she is always gone.  She can sense that there is something off about their marrage.

As Marge drives over to Jacques, she just keeps seeing pictures of husband and wives, which makes her feel guilty about going to cheat on Homer.  She comes to a cross roads…. The Power Plant to see Homer, or Jacques place.  She chooses the Power Plant and it’s a happy Top Gun ending.
